Apple to Shutter iTunes?

As Washington’s Copyright Royalty Board meets this week to decide how much music publishers may charge for each song downloaded through online stores, Apple has weighed in to the debate.  Eddy Cue, Apple’s VP in charge of the iTunes store, submitted a statement to the board indicating that if royalty rates forced Apple to increase charges to the point that it was no longer profitable for them, Apple would likely shut iTunes down.
